Good news as the project is on the verge of being sold, all that's left is the home inspection. Congratulations to Moyse and Borough!
Unfortunately though, the closing date is at the end of this month, which means that the Post Reno Party has officially been cancelled. Too bad. Some other time Toronto.

After a year of grueling labor - well, many months of misjudgement of how much time renos actually take (with commensurate working schedule) followed by some months of grueling soulbreaking labor...
Let me start again: After a year of grueling labor, Moyse and Borough have come to the light at the end - The Project is done and
listed.
All that's left now is to complete the other bookend that
started with
the Pre-Reno Party.
If you're in Toronto, please join us for the Post-Reno Party on July 28th.
RSVP with me.Sorry, it's been cancelled boys and girls.

A few more steps have been taken to gear up for the move out of here. I took last Monday off to ship most of the crap accumulated over the past 4 years in Toronto back to Edmonton. I'm always amazed by how many things one actually has – it took me around 8 boxes. Most everything left over here should be able to fit into two suitcases.
There are a few things that
I'd like to get rid of before I go, including
the table that has served us so well ever since the days of the luxury condo.
If you're looking for furniture and you're in Toronto, please have a look at my
stuff for sale and let me know if anything interests you.

Any Apple experts out there know if there's any way to set durations of events in iCal instead of just specifying start and end times? Maybe using a plug in or an add-on or the like?
If I have a meeting that starts at 10:24am and it's going to last for 2 hours and 47 minutes, I'd prefer not to have to calculate the end time in my head before it can be entered in the calendar.
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Today, MBA09s received our first programme update from London Business School. Reading through the material is pretty exciting. Lots of fun from potential pre-reads, advanced preparation for GLAM, and a hint of the future with student directory information. The sheer number of waivers that need to be signed just promise excitement.
I'm getting more giddy with every big red X on the calendar drawn on my whiteboard at work.
For London Business School students looking for housing. The site for the
Third Annual Flat Hunters' Pub Crawl is a go. Look there for more information as it becomes available. This is also a pleasant reminder for people looking for flatmates to fill out Flatshare details on Portal. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for everyone to find matches when browsing the database for potential flatmates.

Smitty to Colorado. Smith to Philly.
Great.
Just great.
And so begins my moratorium on blogging about the Oilers this season.

The Oilers sure as hell need some big moves to address the free fall they experienced in the last 25 games last season. I have faith in Lowe and his plans. Let's see what brilliant moves he makes today.
